The Cartesian Project is a fast-paced, first-person platforming game that will pit you against endless trials and challenges.

Experience adrenaline-pumping action through a near infinite variety of procedurally generated levels.

Unearth the mysteries of an infection plagued world and learn about the factions trying to harness its power in the roguelike single player campaign, or face off against friends in a multiplayer gauntlet.

Intense First Person Platforming

Engage in intense first-person platforming action as you navigate procedurally generated levels, employing a blend of stealth, agility, and strategic thinking to infiltrate enemy strongholds, hijack equipment, and evade robotic threats.

With its high-speed sprints, precision jumps, and acrobatic wall kicks, the Sentinel grants players the autonomy to approach obstacles creatively. Stay grounded to avoid detection or unleash a flurry of wall kicks to soar through facilities, never making contact with the ground!

Risk and Reward

The Sentinel is not built for combat, you'll need to outpace and out-maneuver security systems trying to eliminate you, using well-timed jumps and wall kicks to reach unrivaled speed. Quick thinking is your greatest asset as procedurally generated levels challenge you to adapt on the fly.

Resource rich facilities are aggressively protected. Large-scale security systems defend these facilities; you will only have a few minutes to extract the resources before you’re wiped out. There is no going back; if destroyed, The Sentinel will be rebuilt, costing you precious time and resources, and shuffling the star map.

Upgrade System

Acquire powerful upgrades from the five colonizing human factions to enhance your abilities, employing a unique loadout in each run. Equip the Sentinel with visors and utilities for optimal stealth, speed, or control, adapting it to your playstyle.

The five factions of Terra Novus each boast distinct technologies and robust defensive systems. Each faction has a unique set of allies and enemies, where the technology you steal aids infiltration among allied factions but proves ineffective against enemy defensive systems.
